Buildon offer an extensive range of Building Certification Services in accordance with the vast
Legislation and Codes of Practices required to be complied with.
Buildon provides the following Certification services:
 
  • Development applications for Houses, Sheds, Swimming Pools, Extensions, Carports
  • Development Applications for Commercial Structures such as Office Space, Transportable Builds, Containers, Sheds & Warehousing
  • Development applications for all classes of buildings Stage Inspections including on behalf of other certifiers.
  • Site Inspections
  • Certificate of Classification
  • We can also assist with a fast turnaround with non-approved structures on sales listings.
Our Director Fred Feather has been in the Building Industry since 1972. Commencing as an
apprentice carpenter and progressed through the ranks to Foreman, Supervisor, Project
Management on Capital Projects at James Cook University, Building Certifier at Thuringowa City Council and Miriam Vale Shire Council & other various Regional Councils and finally the Director of Buildon Building Certifications for the past twelve years.
Buildon also offers the following additional services:

  • Consultancy services for pre-design, pre-lodgement, design and documentation stages
  • Planning consultancy including co-ordination of required permits for development application approvals e.g. Plumbing, Driveway, Build over or near Local Government Infrastructure
  • Consultation with additional stake holders to ensure complete compliance e.g. Queensland Fire & Rescue Service, Local Council Planners & Private Consultants
  • Related Assessments required for Development Application approvals e.g. Bushfire Assessment, Energy Efficiency, Soil Test, Steep Slope, Exemptions, to name a few.
  • Swimming Pool, Spa & Fence Inspections.

As changes take place in building legislation and codes, we continue to keep up to date with ongoing
training for our staff.

Buildon Building Certifications streamlines our application process by using technology out on the field including access to our Development Applications.
